Formed in Geneva in 2001, Redback is an extract of punk energy from the 70's... After a six-track demo recorded in 2003, and together with a new drummer, touring in Switzerland and France becomes intensive. As a descendent of mythical rock n' roll bands such as The Ramones, AC/DC or Motörhead, Redback plays an intense, fierce and heavy rock n' roll.
In december 2006, the band records a debut album with David Weber at the Studio des Forces Motrices (Knut, Young Gods, Lofofora, Motrice Sessions ...) in Geneva. Mastering is carried out by Glenn Miller at Greenwood Studio in Basel. The record is released in september 2007 on the swiss indie label GPS Prod.
